Welcome to my website! I’m Carlie Desjardins, a proud New Jersey native, with a passion for all things PR and a loyal Eagles fan (mostly because of certain New York teams who play in Jersey but won’t claim the name). I've just wrapped up my internship at Devine + Partners, a boutique PR agency in Philadelphia, where I was able to gain hands-on experience and develop my story-telling and client relations skills.

My jack-of-all-trades personality allows me to have a voice in every room, and bring a unique perspective to every conversation. Whether I am brainstorming creative ideas or collaborating on strategic plans, I thrive in dynamic environments and strive to contribute my creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to every project I tackle. In fact, one of my proudest accomplishments was landing my first PR hit as an intern, but it wasn’t just the hit that was impressive. It was the fact it was an Emily-in-Paris-themed cocktail pitch - a show I had never watched, based on cocktails I had never tried. This challenge truly made me tap into and embrace the “fake it til you make it” mentality.

Committing to my values of constantly learning, transparency, and living by the golden rule, guides my decision-making in the workplace and fuels my passion for authentic storytelling. Treating others how I want to be treated has led to me creating relationships with even the gas attendant in my hometown (because the great state of New Jersey understands that we shouldn’t pump our own gas!) The golden rule builds trust and deepens connections, which are essential in any communications strategy,

All in all, I am excited about my journey ahead in public relations and to continue growing my skills in the industry. I believe that a touch of humor and personality makes messages more authentic and collaborations more enjoyable. I’m eager to contribute my unique perspective to every project. Whether through storytelling, creative campaigns, or meaningful connections, I look forward to making a positive impact in PR.

Let’s talk
